It turns out that there is abundant evidence for macroevolution and that evidence is is sufficiently confirmatory. I abjure my formal skepticism and declare that macroevolution is real.

Actually, such evidence, if real, would probably be evidence AGAINST "macroevolution." But you might have to know a bit about biology to actually understand why...

The fact that there are intelligent apes capable of developing software like photoshop IS certainly conclusive evidence for "macro" evolution. =:)

Brad,
Especially the squirrel that is evolving into a super rodent hero.
I'm assuming the school where you teach statistics has some biology courses. I think if you're going to run a site called "Mormons and Science," you would do well to take one or two.
In other words, I concur with Tim.

Cynthia,
I was going to delete your comment but decided to keep it up.
I don't visit your blog and post acrimonious comments. I expect that you would extend the same courtesy to me.
It is a source of real concern to me that this blog is out there possibly making people think that it is representative of Mormons, though I recognize that opinions will differ on whether that is great or concerning.
However, I would probably do well to just say nothing if I can't disagree with specific substantive points and in a more cordial way.
Cynthia
